Mr Robert Oliver, half owner of The Haig Italian Restaurant, won Canberra's 'Best Head Chef' in 2004 at the AHA Awards for Excellence. Mr David Brinkley, half owner of The Haig Italian Restaurant, won Canberra's 'Best Head Chef' in 2005 at the AHA Awards for Excellence. The Haig Italian Restaurant was Runner-up for Best Casual Dining at the AHA 2006 Awards for Excellence.
