Riversleigh is a heritage listed property and is considered an East Gippsland icon. We are located 150m from the Post Office right in the heart of town. Riversleigh is off the main highway, so it is quite with no traffic noise, and is opposite the Mitchell river.The building is 2 levels and has stairs,some rooms are on the ground floor and others upstairs. Our rooms are unique with every room being a different size depending on where the room is located.This is because of the heritage, all rooms have been kept to there original size with no outside walls being altered. Some rooms have a couch and table & chairs and some have table chairs and one lounge chair.Rooms have nice cosy doonas,ensuites,tv, dvd player ,refrigerator,tea/coffee making, wireless internet or dialup.
Our lounge bar is the perfect place to sit and relax in the winter with the open fireplace and whether it be for dinner, lunch or a coffee relax and experience the ambience of the Age Good Food Guide Riversleigh Restaurant.
In the warmer months sit in the front outside courtyard or in our back garden and be entertained by Waggles & Snowball or housewatch dogs.
Restaurant hours 7.00 am - 8.30am breakfast.Tuesday-Friday
