With an open fire, double bath, leather lounge and king sized bed, 1860 overlooks Spring Creek and the surrounding parklands of Lake Sambell. This property can not accommodate children.
Driving to Beechworth 3 hours north of Melbourne, 4.5 hours south of Canberra and 7 hours from Sydney.

The Key We have a system that allows you to arrive whenever it is convenient for you after 3.00pm. We have a key security box with the spare key in it. Open the front door with this key and your set of keys for the weekend are inside on the coffee table. The key security box is attached to the verandah post on the left as you come up the steps. There is a torch hanging underneath. The area is well lit and the box is easy to find. Put in the code 1860 and push the open button down. The box will open with the key inside. We are close by so call if you need us, phone 0408 273 783. Built in the 1860's by a timber feller & carpenter, 1860 was deconstructed piece by piece and moved from Taggerty to Beechworth to save it from the ravages of time & weather. It was rebuilt using traditional methods to maintain the integrity and historic value of the building.
