Wombat Hills is a peaceful retreat in a stunning mountain location. The first thing you'll notice is the eagle's eye view of rolling hills to Blue Mountains right across the horizon. The jetty on our private lake is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.
Situated between Mansfield and Tolmie, not only does Wombat Hills serve as an excellent base from which to tour Victoria's high country, but it is also well placed on the scenic route linking the Yarra valley with both the historical Beechworth/Bright area and the Milawa/Rutherglen wine regions.
There are two romantic cottages, Fern and Snowgum, which are designed especially for couples. If you want to bring friends or family Rose cottage is ideal. The three stone cottages are nestled amongst acres of beautiful gardens where there are several quiet nooks to sit with a cuppa and admire the scenery. All within 45 minutes drive are downhill & nordic ski-ing, fishing, swimming, canoeing, rafting, boating, cycling, hot air ballooning, airplane joyrides, mountain bike, horse & camel rides, wineries, bushranger haunts, bushwalks and scenic picnic sites. Or you could stay in and play tennis, fish or even just put your feet up and relax in the gardens of Wombat Hills.
Fully self contained with double spas, open fires, space heating and air conditioned for all year round comfort. Full kitchen facilities, DVD/CD/VCR/TV private courtyards with gas BBQ and outdoor settings.
