Three impressive self contained Country Homes on a 50 acre vineyard estate in the beautiful Lovedale area of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Ironstone accommodation is the perfect venue for a relaxing holiday with Hunter Valley wineries, restaurants, cafes, galleries and golf courses only a few minutes drive away.
Ironstone Estate is a 10min drive from the town of Cessnock. Travel along Wine Country Drive (Allandale Rd) - towards the vineyards. At the intersection of Lovedale Rd; Wine Country Drive (Crowne Plaza is on this corner) - turn right- you then turn right into the first road - Londons Rd (Capercaillie Winery is on this corner)- drive for 1 km until you come to a fork in the road - turn left for the Homestead and Cottage - turn right for the Lodge.
The Lodge has a private entrance off Olsens Rd, with a lovely vineyard aspect above a large dam. This is the perfect venue for an escape for groups of friends to share or for small corporate retreats. Spacious well appointed self catering Lodge - 6 bedrooms, all with ensuites.
ROOM FEATURES: Lodge: Opened in June 2006, Ironstone Lodge is custom built to accommodate up to 14 adults in six bedrooms, each with it's own ensuite, two with corner baths and one suitable for disabled guests. Four bedrooms have queen-sized beds and two have king-sized beds which can be separated into single beds. Homestead: An impressive five bedroom, self-catering Country Homestead with a wood fire, a sparkling inground pool, a wisteria covered entertainment area and a large country kitchen. The Homestead can accommodate up to 12 guests. The perfect venue for a family or group of friends to wine, dine and relax whilst overlooking Ironstone's vineyards. The Homestead and Cottage can be booked together for larger groups of up to 18 guests. The Homestead and Cottage are located on the opposite side of the property to the Lodge with their entrance off London's Rd. Cottage: Ironstone Cottage is a two bedroom, well appointed, self contained house, private yet in close proximity to the boutique wineries of Lovedale. The perfect venue for a midweek romantic escape for two or a fun filled vineyard weekend for 4 to 6 friends. The Cottage and Homestead can be booked together for larger groups of up to 18 people. Would you please phone a day or so before your arrival to inform us of your expected time of arrival. We are very flexible with our check in times subject to readiness- when there are guests leaving on the day of your arrival the check in time is 4pm.
