Travelling two hours north from Sydney via freeway or longer through an historic and scenic route that passes through glorious countryside, you will find the spectacular Hunter Valley.
Amidst an ambience of seclusion and serenity, Madigan Vineyard is located approximately ten minutes from Cessnock and its township.
The vineyard is sited in the valley amongst many boutique wineries and restaurants.
Here you will find four luxury cottages, where the weary urbanite can embrace tranquillity and totally relax. Each cottage has been designed to enjoy the views of the vineyard. The cottages are contemporary in style, and have interiors that take their inspiration from the country setting and have been created with its natural environment in mind.
As the breathtaking sunsets unfold, you can sit on your private deck with a glass of chilled Madigan wine, and savour the delightful sounds and smells of the Australian bush.
In winter, curl up and gaze at the mist-shrouded forests and valley. At twilight, myriad lights transform the forest into an entrancing night-time vista. This is when many animals become active, and you can be entertained by scampering possums, kangaroos and rabbits.
In the darkness of the evening night all senses are heightened beneath a brilliant starlit sky. On clear nights the Milky Way and shooting stars will enchant you with a mesmerizing display.
