In July 2007, Grand Hyatt Melbourne commenced an AUD$40 million renovation. Major lobby renovation will take place Monday through Saturday 7:30am to 6:00pm. Currently the hotel's breakfast buffet has been relocated to a luxurious function room on level 8. The hotel's Grand Club lounge is available for all hotel guests who wish to entertain clients or guests for lunch and dinner. During the redevelopment, the Grand Club lounge is open from 8pm each evening as a full service bar to all guests.
