Our luxury bed and breakfast accommodation is architect designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Once you arrive at Cavvanbah Beach House you can park the car, leave the stress of day-to-day living behind and unwind.
The beach is a mere 100 metres along a sandy track that meanders through subtropical rainforest, so you can enjoy the sounds of birds and the ocean as you stroll over for a dip.
Sleep-in, have breakfast at your leisure -- treat yourself to breakfast in bed, cool off and relax by the salt-water pool, have a spa, surf, swim or just lie on the beach. Take a 10 minute stroll along the beach or road to the lively town centre of Byron Bay to the cafes, restaurants, shopping, galleries and entertainment for which this eclectic community is renowned. Have a massage, meditate, do a yoga class, go surfing or scuba diving, hang-gliding or whatever you choose. It's all within easy reach of Cavvanbah Beach House B&B.
'Cavvanbah' (often spelt 'Cavanbah') is the original name for Byron Bay and means meeting place. Our luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation is designed to offer you the ideal base for getting out and about in Byron Bay or, if you like your own space, you can opt for absolute privacy.
Each of our rooms is unique, with wide-opening doors and windows to give that indoor/outdoor feel - light and airy in summer, and cosy and warm in winter. Surrounded by lush gardens, the fragrance of the frangipanis and jasmine waft in and the calls of the birds and sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep. Peaceful and relaxed.
The guest rooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, nestled amongst the palms and lilipillies. Two spa rooms have beautiful timber bifolding doors that open onto your own pool-side terrace and lush gardens. The perfect place to relax over breakfast, afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drink.
The other spa room is north-facing - off the front of the house and has a beautiful polished timber floor and a shady verandah that looks over the hibiscus garden to a lush subtropical rainforest reserve. There is one queen room off the side of the house, also with polished timber floor, sliding doors onto a private deck and a bath in the ensuite.
