This lovely award winning 5 star lodge is located on a gently sloping hillside overlooking lakes and wetlands. Surrounded by a beautiful garden this elegant, luxurious and relaxing country house is a haven away from the noise and bustle of the city. From the time you enter theLodge you know you have arrived at somewhere special, the perfect place to relax.
Only three hours from Sydney, 2.5hrs from Canberra and 3 minutes from historic Milton the Lodge offers accommodation with style. The entrance way has a stunning view of the wetlands which have masses of bird life. To the right of the entrance is the elegant lounge with its large open fire in winter, ideal for snuggling down with a good book. Rooms are large with excellent finishes and beautiful fabrics. The attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings and fittings is out standing and is commented on by many of the guests. There is the large patio for lazing and for drinks and afternoon tea.
Di and Peter specialise in fine food and dinners are available by arrangement. A meal could consist of perfect prawns, local fish from the Ulladulla wharves baked in wine and capers, homemade icecream and berries. Meadowlake is BYO.
Breakfast is a feast with fresh fruit, home made muesli, fresh orange juice and a cooked selection of eggs including the famous fresh herbed omlette and ricotta hot cakes with maple syrup and blueberries.
The tariff also includes afternoon tea and drinks and canapes before dinner. The Lodge is close to the beaches at Mollymook and bush walks in the Budawangs including Pigeon House Mt. You can play Royal Meadowlake 7 stick, chipping course, just ask Peter for golf sticks and balls.
Meadowlake Lodge has a beautiful seasonal garden which has seats dotted about for sunset viewing or enjoying a quiet glass of wine.
