The River Retreat is on the Swan Valley tourist drive. You can drive to the valley in just over 30 minutes from Perth CBD and less than that from Perth’s domestic or international airports. Connections via bus and train are through Midland station and transfers can be arranged.

Our new shows are available to all – you don’t have to be staying here to join in. The River Retreat as an ideal location from which to tour the wineries, sample excellent cuisine and visit local wildlife attractions in the area. Some attractions are within walking distance but you don’t even have to leave the retreat to be entertained. The River Retreat has a quiet rural outlook over the mature redgums on the Swan River to the Darling Range.
