Beautiful place with lots to do. Everyone seem to be fluent in English and french. The public transport is free and runs like clockwork. Lovely bars and restaurants as well as great architecture and culture.

Luxembourg is underrated for many travelers.
Luxembourg is underrated for many travelers. Luxembourg City is easily doable in one day, but the countryside offers so much more. We visited Echternach, Vianden, Esch-sur-sure and Beaufort, the mullerthal region, Remich and more over the course of 2 days and wish we could have had 1 more day to explore and hike.

Luxembourg was a great city, more beautiful than i expected. The old city was wonderful, a lot o things to see. The first day i thought i have seen everything, but i visited the next day, also a lot of other things that i havent seen. I will return again in Luembourg because i think i havent seen everything. I traveled with the train from Germany to Luxembourg. The prices were a little bit high but for the standard of living in Luxembourg maybe its ok. The hotel is right at the main transport (and public transport is FREE in Luxemburg) hub in the country. In spite of this my room was very quiet. I was warned about building works next door, but I noticed nothing of that. Free bus (No 29) from and to the airport outside the railway station. Free tram into the city centre. Lots of bars and cafés and supermarkets in the street outside and bakers in the station building. You'll survive there!

There is ample free parking available, and there's a bus stop with direct connections to the city center in front of the hotel. The airport is in walking distance. The breakfast was appropriate for the price, but there could be a little more space if more people wanted to have breakfast at the same time. The staff speaks all major languages of the region (English, French, German, Dutch).

We had a family room and it was perfect for our family of 4. The bathrooms was modern and everything was very clean. We ordered food from their sister property next door and it was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is a little outside the city center, but the tram runs right in front of the hotel and has you there in under 10 minutes. We had a great stay!
