I absolutely love Phi Phi island and have been back multiple times. I highly recommend staying on the island to enjoy the island experience. It's great being able to get there, settle in and be able to walk every where. Everyone is incredibly friendly and there is a bit of everything. Lots of great restaurants and bars to enjoy. Great night life scene, and also plenty of relaxation to be had. I recommend a tour of the islands on the long tail boats, the boat parties can be fun, but they can be hit or miss.

Koh Phi Phi is a bustling little island packed with all sorts of holiday makers from the backpacking community through to high end hotel guests. There are characterful little lanes filled with food vendors, restaurants and other shops and stalls and in the evening the bars and evening activities kick into action and carry on until the small hours. There are beautiful beaches and also endless possibilities of boat travel round the island and other close bye sights. Very busy, very lively and very beautiful.

Phi Phi Island is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Island hopping on a long tail boat and snorkeling at Maya Bay was an amazing experience. I would visit Phi Phi Island again if I could.

Absolute paradise. Lives up to the hype.
Absolute paradise. Lives up to the hype. The water is turquoise and crystal clear. Get out on a day boat trip, see bamboo island and you’ll never want to leave. And while you’re here, eat at the “Thai Duck Restaurant”. I went back and ate there 4 times while on the island. Get the duck soup!

Really beautiful island with some amazing viewpoints.
Really beautiful island with some amazing viewpoints. Great for people who want to party as there is lots of lively bars. If you are looking to relax I wouldn’t recommend as most of the activities include alcohol.
The island overall is very walkable and there is some great food spots.

I liked this resort. Located 1min for the beach, in the centre of phi phi. It is a bit noisy from the parties, but if you come to phi phi and complain the music is loud you came to the wrong island.
The rating for this hotel is very low, my experience is much better. i only assume there are bad reviews due to the noise.
Room was spacious, well designed and comfortable. Pool was large and nice to swim in or sit round.
Staff were great, resort is in good condition.
I stayed in 5 hotels in Phi Phi, Anita was one of the best.
I don't think you could find a better hotel on the island, we was lucky enough to have a room that we could walk straight out onto the pool or if you wished walk another 30m to the beach. Absolutely stunning views. This hotel is classed as only 3 stars, why I can't understand because while I was on phi phi I looked at other hotels that were 4**** and they didn't come close. I would 100% recommend it and I'm already looking at staying here again.
Oh by the way phi phi islands is the closest I've ever been to paradise
Loved the location! I have heard a lot of people don't love Phi Phi island if they stay in the town but I had an amazing time at Viking because of the location primarily. My "treehouse" was right on the water but surrounded by trees which made it feel extremely private. The sound of the waves and cicadas in the trees was so soothing when I was sitting in my hammock. The rooms were a bit "rustic" but fit the vibe of the place perfectly (wasn't a sterile, standard hotel room - it had character).
The hotel met our needs exactly. It meant we could stay on the Phi Phi islands overnight to enjoy the nightlife. It’s set back a little further away from the bars so no issues with noise when sleeping. The bed was very comfortable too.
It’s nothing glamorous but for what you’re paying it’s exceptional value for money. Clean and all the facilities you would need. Compared to a lot of the hotels we saw around the island it’s a good standard.
Loved the beach front location with gorgeous pool & epic bar & food service. the staff were amazing, laundry service was brilliant & cheap. excellent location for the whole of that area! party or chill - whichever you fancy this place is great! dinner on the beach listening to the sea was dreamy. reasonable boat trips to the surrounding islands & bays. stunning!!!!!
The hotel facilities were nice. The pool area was good, the small massage place on the beach was really nice, and the on-the-beach restaurant was good and had one of the islands best views over the sea.
The staff was kind, and the location was great.
Housekeeping brought bottled water daily, and if that was not enough, there was a minimart on the grounds.
Friendly staff. Great buffet breakfast. Hotel is 30-minute walk from the pier and busy part of the island. Phi Phi island is overall too expensive for what it is - too many taxi long tail boats parked on the beaches the ambiance of the island. You can find idyllic beaches and hotels in Krabi mainland for better value. Sorry, I won’t tell you where ; ~ )
Great hotel with beautifull villas which have an amazing view on the ocean. Breakfast was good. Enough beds to lay at the beach, clean. Food at night was good.
Though we enjoyed our stay here very much it is good to know that the walk to the villas can be quit steep. So if you have trouble walking it is good to consider this. For us it wasn't a problem.
the bungalow was private and close to the beach, the restaurant and bar were stellar, the front desk and support staff fantastic, efficient and super friendly. short boat trips to other islands. from the moment we stepped off the boat we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. the employee from the hotel handled it all the way to the room.
Really near to the main street, good room and great breakfast. The only issue is the shower, that doesn't get hot at all (they tell you at check-in that you must leave the ac on for 15 minutes and it will get warmer, but it doesn't). Besides that, amazing hotel, great location and friedly staff! Best location on the island
I liked that we were right there at the beach, you walk out from the hotel and the hotel has its own private area where you can lay out and look at the view of the ocean or go in for a swim. :) Then the massage place is right beside the lounge area. They also have a swing that I enjoyed. I know you you'll love it. :)
Location was right on the beach, nice bar/cafe right by the hotel too. Easy to get to from the port and everywhere on the island very walkable. Out of the main strip so can’t hear the party noise at night.
Host friendly enough and provided beach towels.
Breakfast was pretty nice, good selection of food and really nice fresh fruits. Pretty central location, easy to reach other parts of the island and there are some pretty nice restaurants right next to the hotel.
The hotel is really a magic garden with small houses. The smell of flowers is amazing. The service was great though. In the evening you will hear the party even though it's a bit far away, but it's party island.
Excellent up to date hotel. It's ok that there is no breakfast because right next to the hotel has many food options. Close to the pier. Rooms were comfortable and clean, also quiet so you can sleep well.
